Shoppers Drug Mart on Portage Ave & Banning has a crazy sale today. 15% off all cosmetics and fragrances, plus special deals on selected items, AND 20 times the Optimum points. So, I updated my collection of cologne.
Yeah I know, all I need is some "Sex Panther" and I'll be set.
Overview:
Acqua Di Gio - This one works very well for me, I absolutely love wearing it to a club. I waited and waited for a deal, and this came in a gift pack with shampoo and shaving balm, and was 15% off, so I pounced.
Black Code - Now known as just "Code", this is my new favorite. It came in a gift pack, and was also 15% off.
Burberry - I originally bought this to replace my first bottle of Gio. It comes close in scent and was less pricey. This is a good all-purpose fragrance, I like wearing it with a suit.
CK Be - I wore this one all the time before I was given my first bottle of Gio. Its has a very clean smell and anyone can wear it.
Drakkar Noir - $19 bucks!!! I have always tinkered with the thought of buying it, but its very popular so I resisted until now.
Obsession - This one is overdue for retirement. Its only good around people who outright say that they like it. Personally, I am no longer fond of it.
Pour Lui - $19 bucks!!! I like this one, I could wear it around family or at work, but I wouldnt wear it out.
Sung - $19 bucks!!! Now this one more so than the others was an impulse buy. Actually, the girl helping me said it was her favorite, and she was cute, so I grabbed it.
I cashed in the Optimum points and got my mother a gift pack of Armani Mania ($80 worth of stuff for nothing!).
Because I purchased three gift packs, I received 3 additional special gifts. I chose 2 Polo passport wallets, and a Polo travel bag with Polo Blue products in it.
Update: Not the most exciting purchase of the day, but certainly the most gut-wrenchingly expensive. My washer no longer spins and my dryer takes two cycles to dry clothes. Both are 30 years old, so I decided to get new ones:
