I am also befuddling, and confusing and slightly off kilter. But then again, no one is really *on* kilter, are they?

I suppose that depends on what a kilter actually is.
If it is "someone who makes kilts" then I'm fairly sure that at some point in history someone has, in fact, been on them.
Otherwise, not so sure.

Oh, btw, on that theme, I was on a plane yesterday evening.

The flight attendant was urging people to step out of the way and let other people pass, but the way she phrased it was delicious.

"Please step into the seats and let people pass so that others may board you."

The back of the plane erupted in giggles. I allowed a small smirk.
