So I walked outside this morning and of all the insanity....

it's COLD out there!!!! Not just a bit chilly, but full-on COLD!!

I'm experiencing serious mixed emotions about this sudden change of climate in my life. Because, you see, I don't like cold weather so much.

I, for one, am not happy about the cold weather. I was enjoying the heat. I don't like any of my winter clothes (therefore, I must buy new clothes). I did get a "hankering" for chili so that's what I'm fixing for supper. I repeat, I am not happy about the cold weather!

Now you all know that I'm a sucker for candy canes and decorating and christmas music (I've been listening to TSO all year), however, I must put my foot down...

It's not even close to Halloween yet, please don't put up a tree, it will be dead before Christmas. Personally, I refuse to put up a tree before Thanksgiving, but I will conceed to the fact that others will do so. OK, fine, whatever, I'll live with that.

Just can't hang when people put up a tree in October!

I, for one, drink both hot coffee AND hot tea all year long. I'm also very grateful for the cold weather because my car does not have A/C, and I've been miserable all summer. And I love sweatshirts. Seriously, I adore them. And blazer-jackets, too.

And yes, it is way too early to be thinking about Christmas. Trust me, when I worked at Stage, it was Christmas from about now until January. I got sick of it.
