i really like the trains behind our house. i can watch them go by. if i'm outside, the train driver guys wave. it's kinda fun

I hear that at my house too but I thought that the big noise was from when they hitch cars together. Good to have heard an eye-witness account.

yep it's from them just sending them off down the tracks until the run into another car! hahah

When I lived in Decatur, I hated the trains that went next to my apartment. It was right by a crossing and there were trains like every hour, so it was just constant horn blowing, night and day.

But I did like it when the engineer would wave at us :)

ah that sounds awful! fortunately, i never hear them blowing their horns.. i'm not sure why they dont seem to! but i'm glad!!
