It also slightly surprised me to read that this was tokka/sukka, because the sukka slipped in without me really noticing! I think I just like the conflict it creates.

I mean, we all know that there's somethign between Sokka and Suki in canon, but then we really don't know what Azula did to her. I'm really hoping she isn't dead because imagine what that would do to Sokka.
At the same time I want there to be some kind of confrontment on Toph's part - even accidental - that lets Sokka know her feelings. Though I get the feeling that he might already know? (Did you see the way he looked at her in Sokka's Master after she turned around, saying "I didn't care."?)
Yeah... definately the best I've read so far that ends on this side of the coin. Have you read Release?

I'm glad the ending was such a surprise! It's nice to know my plot's not too predictable. ^^

I always love reading any fics by you but your Three Times...(& One Time... Wasn't) are always my favorite and this one was the best yet. Just the way you right Toph and the heartbreaking Tokka, everything is stunning. I am so memming this!

Thank you so much! It's really amazing to know my writing can affect people so much! (What to do with the power... lol.)
I love writing in the 3(&1) format because it's like four separate oneshots in one little package. You can write one section, leave it for a while, and then come back to write some more. Plus you can be super creative and selective about what moments you want to use. It's just a fun way to explore the Tokka dynamic. =D
