[ A few dots appear on the screen; obviously someone with a stylus and a communicator is tapping on the device's screen. After this, a slightly clumsy (but still kind of half-decent) picture of a tree appears. And then a voice; it sounds bored, but forcedly so, as though the person speaking is confused, nervous, maybe even scared, but trying not to show it: ]
Hey, I don't know who left their phone out here, and if it's you, you probably can't hear it, but...I have your phone. Thing. Anyway, all I'm saying is, it doesn't have a name or any numbers or anything in it, so it's probably new and probably expensive. And...you know, money's kind of tight lately.
[ A pause. ]
And my phone's not working anyway. Look, I don't fucking know where I'm going with this, and I'm pretty sure I sleepwalked my way here because I have no idea where I'm going at all. Or where I am. So if anyone's actually listening to this thing, just say something. Even if it's that stupid trucker code shit, ten-four and all that.. I'll pretty much take anything I can get right now.

He is also looking in the windows to make sure no one is here-- or maybe to find out if anyone is here at all.
