I don't like the phrase, "raise children that do not suck." It sounds very derogatory, saying that your own children might be awful people. You should make yourself look bad, which I think is what you were trying to say; "Try not to fail at raising my children."

But wow that's flattering, that I'm in 5/6 of your top priorities. Are you sure about that? I mean, shouldn't school be in there?

Yeah school should probably be in there somehow.

Perhaps I should have rephrased that one sentence you were unhappy with to "do not be a parent that sucks".

Yes I think this is much better, except I think the work "suck" is still bothering me. Maybe, "Do not fail as a parent"? I don't know it's your sentence though.
