Its official. We have Tina Turner tickets. They came in the mail to my old apartment and Micah called me and told me they were there! we went over straight away to get them. Mary is so excited. It was 2003 or 2004 I think, during her farewell tour. She played the arena near UT and had Joe Cocker opening for her.

oh what a good show. I'm very excited to see her now. I saw her on the internet with Cher and Oprah. She is still amazing. At nearly 70!

oh poor puppy. Getting better? I have been well. Busy busy, but well. I am very excited about tina turner and about going to texas. We need to hang out while I'm in town. I'm going to make plans with family and we'll try to plan something?

Yeah, she's been getting slowly better. She's on antibiotics right now, and so she's getting some of that puppy energy back. :)

And bet your ass you're not leaving this state until you and Mary visit me and Chris. Or else...you'll be off my buddy list lady....SCARY!!!! hehe

yea. she was pretty awesome in that. I just saw Tommy for the first time too and she was awesome in that as well. That was a strange but funny movie. Elton John was pretty effin' awesome in that as well.

I'd heard the song that Elton John sings on the radio many times and honestly always thought it says "sure plays a mean guitar" and not "pinball"

hehe. now I know.
