A lot of stuff has happened in the past couple of days; Moss went to the vet and she's okay but if she has another fit she'll be put on anti-seziure medication, it's strong medication so the vet recommends waiting. Today, my nana has come down for a visit, I haven't seen her since last November so yay!
I have, this evening, created a 101 things to

Huh, books.
Anything from Haruki Murakami. Anything.
But especially 'Afterdark' and 'Kafka on the shore'.
The man's a genius.
As for films, I don't know what you like. :/

I'm not actually a fan of films, which is why I've included it in my list, to try and like them a bit better (one of my flatmates is a film fanatic and keeps getting annoyed with me lol!)

First, I'll rec some films. I'm not a big film buff either. But these are my favorites, so if you haven't seen any of these, you need to: "Clue" and "Ghostbusters" (best comedies ever!), "The Neverending Story" and "Labyrinth" (the Golden Age of fantasy films!), "The Princess Bride", "Dead Poets' Society", "The Three Musketeers" (yes, the Disney version).
Now, as for books, I'll rec you a few, but I don't know what kind of books you're into! Let me know what you like, and I'll see what else I can come up with.
First, I love Margaret Atwood! The Handmaid's Tale is probably her most famous book, but Alias Grace and Oryx and Crake are my favorites.
House of Leaves, by Mark Danielewski is a complicated, intense book, but it's very good and really compelling!
Anything by Neil Gaiman...
Have you ever heard of this book called The Da Vinci Code? (No, kidding! Though I was entertained by ( ... )

Book Rec:
Last Exit to Brooklyn by Hubert Selby Jr. It’s the same author as Requiem for a Dream, the book and movie. This book tore me apart. I think it’s probably the most graphic and gritty book I’ve ever read. It kind of hurts. Also banning a book basically puts it on my to read list… lol.
And two foreign language film recs, both French:
The Three Colours: Blue (Trois Couleurs: Bleu) which is the first of three films, though they all stand alone, that each tell a story exploring the colours on the French flag, the revolution ideals: Liberty, Equality, Fraternity. Bleu is liberty and is my favourite of the three. I’ve watched this one many times but red and white only once each. I find it so riveting but can’t really tell how it’s doing it.
Micmacs is completely hilarious and moving and quirky. I laughed out loud so many times. Really couldn’t help it at all.

"The Name of the Rose" by Umberto Eco. The movie is also quite good.
Just say if you need more recs :)
