So here is a breakdown of the computer I'd have if I had 6grand sitting around!

Let's start where I usually start when planning a build, the case. Most people underestimate the importance of a good case. If improperly ventilated it could fry your machine (speaking from experience).

Mac's have their place. Not for gaming... which is what I would use this machine for. If I were to build the studio that I want to build later on after I have a house and such, the core of that system would be an Apple G5, or the equivalent of their best desktop out at the time. The only reason being that Mac's Pro-tools are the best. As is their image and video editing software. As well as the ease of use.
