I'm scared too! But hey, it's always Lorelai for Luke so I doubt blond-girl will be an actual threat. But jealous Lorelai might be kind of fun for a while. Continue soon please, because I so need you season eight!

true *nods* i'm not scared that Luke will cheat, no way..but i'm scared that Lorelai will get this whole thing wrong, get mad, they will have a fight, and it could be bad for Lorelai, cause she's pregnant...but i like good drama, and i know Audi will handle it really well :D

seems like i'm gonna talk to myself here lol...liked segment three, i had nothing to worry about, Debbie seems like a great girl, but i still think something will happen, probably Lorelai and her hormones lol...

lol, seems like people are shying away.

Debbie does seem like a great girl, doesn't she? Will it be Lorelai's hormones that make this situation awkward? Or will there be some truth to Lorelai's hyperactive assumptions?

Nice job on segment 3. Debbie seems likeable so far. I don't think I'm worried about her, but I'm interested in seeing how far she insinuates herself back into Stars Hollow, and Lorelai's feelings about that. I wonder if Luke flirts without realizing he's doing it -- he seemed very pensive when telling Lorelai how Debbie fit in and when she came to say goodbye.

"I wonder if Luke flirts without realizing he's doing it."

Do you think that's even possible? I mean this is Luke we're talking about. I would like to know what made you speculate this. Is it the "pensiveness" you mention? Maybe Lorelai's hormones drive him to do that?

It's an interesting concept. Flirting without realizing it...

I don't think Lorelai's behavior would drive him to flirt with Debbie, I think it would come from somewhere in his subconscious. She's someone he was very fond of as a teenager, and that might spark some kind of reaction from him if they reminisce about old times...which I'm assuming they will. It might only be "brotherly love", but Lorelai might see something in his body language, or on his face, when he's around Debbie, which will make her wonder what more there was to their friendship back then. If anything.

Oop's sorry. Have been meaning to post, but busy with work. I'm curious by how this is going so far. Debbie does "seem" like a great girl. It's kind of odd for her to just show up after all these years, isn't it? I don't know. Luke had that little moment at the table when he looks down, then subtley changes the subject. What's that supposed to mean??

You, on the other hand, are not convinced Debbie's a nice person? I'm glad you caught Luke's mannerisms during the chat at the table. Something that needs explanation, I'm sure.

I'm afraid the proof is in the pudding with Debbie. I need more pudding...er proof. Is she really all she seems to be?

right, i forgot about that, he looked down, but i think it had to do with Debbie's brother Tommy, they had a fight and never talked again..you can see from this quote she talked about big decisions with regrets following closely behind - great friends fighting and then never talking again :) JMO

"DEBBIE: (Admits) Yeah, I guess I am. I should be thankful… really. But sometimes, big decisions are made with regrets following closely behind (She looks directly at Luke, prompting him to look down at his hands. Lorelai notices this)."
