Why is it that every time I find a really good hairdresser who knows how to cut my curly yet fine hair, I get only one or two cuts from them (which I adore), and then they move away somewhere and I can never find anyone to maintain my hair quite the same way?

Why?

I go to a chain salon here in New York where all the stylists have fake American-gladiator style names (like "Blaze" or "Sateen"), which I thought was just a dumb thing they did to fit the concept. But then my favorite stylist went to another salon, and it makes perfect sense: I can't find her now because of her stupid alias!
