Your Style
What kind of clothes do you usually wear? Do you have a set style or do you just wear whatever you would like?: I wear a lot of jeans and a lot of tops that are more jewel tone than anything else, but I’m planning on buying some skirts and dresses to wear. The tops I wear are more peasant tops or baby-doll and have either a v-neck or a scoop neck. I wear flats a lot as well as cute sandals in the summertime that have ruffles on it. I also wear heels whenever I want or just want to be taller than I already am. I don’t wear that much make-up either. I usually just wear a bit of mascara or lipstick and that’s it. When I dress up to go out or go to a party, I wear more make-up though.
What type of accessories do you usually wear? Do you prefer more extravagant jewelry or subtle?: I always wear my class ring, it's gold and has a mother of pearl in the center. I also wear a gold necklace with a little 8th note charm on it a lot as well. I wear a lot of earrings that are larger than just studs and I do wear earrings that
Do you wear make-up? If yes, describe your usual make-up routine:
Face: I don't really put much on except for a little bit of blush. If I'm going out, I put on a liquid foundation, powder, and a blush.
Eyes: Covergirl Exact Eyelights mascara and eyeliner for blue eyes is fantastic, but I've also started using NYC's black liquid eyeliner and I love it. The Covergirl stuff is blue-black with a slight shimmer and just really looks good. I only put the eyeliner on my top lid occasionally. As for eye-shadow, I put natural foundation on my lid than add either a shimmery white, pink, or champagne color on my lid (I use Maybelline Shadow Stylist most of the time) and blend outwards. When I go out, I don't blend it. I use clear mascara on my eyebrows to keep them in place and from getting messy and sometimes use brown eyeliner on my eyebrows to make them more defined. I also like to use lavender, light blue, and brown eyeshadow.
Lips: Burt's Bees tinted lip-balm in Rhubarb (it looks like a dark red, but it's more like a dark pink on my skin). It also makes a great blush. :)
How do you usually style your hair (pictures are fine)?: I either straighten my hair and style it so that it curls towards my face, or I let it air dry, put in some mousse, and just let my hair become curly.
