Name: MadClairvoyant
Age: Above 13
Gender: Female
~About You~
How would you describe yourself?: Cunning, clever, charismatic, confident, stubborn, proud, well mannered
What are you passionate about?: Life
What are your goals in life?: To love my family, and to die contented
Favorite quote/lyric/saying?: “I didn't really care much about anything, so I guess I felt fine.”--The Thief, Megan Whalen Turner
Favorites (like food, music, etc)?: I love Pie Jesu, which is a simple latin hymn, a chinese song called xixue, which translates into playing the snow, and about a soldier who leaves for Taiwan during the Communist Party coming to power, promising his love to see her again, only to come back forty years later, and his sweetheart long having committed suicide, driving him to do the same by her grave. Well, I like a lot of English songs too, but one I love most is Empty chairs at empty tables, as it makes me recognise that in life, more often than not, we don't succeed in our endeavours, and someone has to pay the price for the failure.
My favourite series of books is called the Queen's thief series, which talks about a Thief, and the role he plays in the politics of the countries around the. I love his character, the political intrigue, and of course, my favourite literary character, the Queen of Attolia, who is the wife and queen of the protagonist of the series. She is a woman, which puts her at a disadvantage, yet she is a brilliant queen, if very cruel and ruthless. And she is a strong female, but not the action girl, plucky kind. Despite her achievements and position, she maintains her feminineness, and is famous for her beauty too.
Do you have any pet peeves? Spiders, and anything with too many legs.
Do you have any talents/hobbies? What are you good at?: I read, sing, dance, play several musical instruments, debate, write a lot, both as my hobbies, and I suppose I am alright at them, except reading, as I am not sure how to judge that.
What are you not so good at?: I am not good at sports, as I am anaemic, which makes me dizzy and nauseous after exerting myself too much. Ballet is the most I can manage. One and a half hours of that is no joke.
~Relationships~
What are your views on love and friendship?: I am too young to have fallen in love, and to be broken hearted, so I have yet to truly understand how precious romantic love is. On the other hand, I am very attached to my parents, and would do anything for them. True friendship means little to me, because I have yet to find it. I cannot bring myself to really trust anyone. Companionship is alright for me.
Family, friends, lovers, possessions, careers. What order would you put these, from highest to lowest priority? Family, careers, lovers, friends, possessions.
Are you more trusting or more cynical of others?: Cynical. The whole world is there to make fun of. What is not to like?
~Fashion~
Have you ever thought about working the field of fashion? No.
Do you have any interest in fashion?: Enough to be presentable and smart at any occasion I attend.
Do you have a set style?: Not really. My dressing is more feminine, but rather diverse. Sometimes it is smart casual, like shorts and sleeveless tops, or ankle length skirts. It really depends.
~This or That~
Impulsive or cautious: Cautious.
Optimistic or pessimistic: Pessimistic,
Mature or immature: Mature
Confident or shy: Confident
Kind or selfish: Selfish
Introverted or extroverted: Extroverted.
~Audrey Hepburn~
What is your favorite movie she was in?: My fair lady.
What was your least favorite Audrey Hepburn movie?: Sabrina.
Why do you love Ms. Hepburn and her movies?: She has a unique sort of elegance and class, as well as acting skills.
If you could be one of her characters from any of her movies, who would it be and why?: Princess Ann from Roman Holiday, because she is clever, cheeky, and interesting. Elegant too.
