:hugs you tight: You know most people don't understand how the abuser/victim relationship works and you just defined it perfectly. It doesn't start out with physical abuse. It starts gradually with the breaking of emotions and mentality and then becomes physical. They don't just walk up to you and say "Hi, nice to meet you" *smack* First they break your spirit. I have people tell me all the time "I would have NEVER allowed that to happen!" and I have to remind them that I used to say the same thing.
