phone calls.

about six weeks or so ago, our phone company, sunrocket, went out of business. they were supposed to hook us up with another little startup vobb so we would have uninterrupted service. now, we have been without reliablephone service for almost two months. sometimes, we can receive incoming calls, most of the time, not so much. we can successfully ( Read more... )

my friend had them and had to deal with the same thing, except she switched to comcast phone when sunrocket went bankrupt. i haven't talked to her on the phone since she switched, but i won't miss sunrocket. a lot of our conversations ended with "huh? i lost you in the middle of that last thought" "i hate this stupid phone, i'll talk to you later!" i don't know if it worked any better for you, but good luck with choosing the phone company... they are all pretty evil nowadays. we have verizon and had to go a week without phone service when we moved, and did they care? of course not.

remember nate was one of their first ten employees? when i think of all the long hours he put in with them, i get so mad to think that it isn't going to pay off at all. we put in a claims form the other day, but it's a very long line we're in. on the upside, he can now hire ex-co-workers without repercussions (he'd signed some agreement when he left that he wouldn't recruit anyone).

these days i don't have a house phone. we use skype or our mobiles.
