I don't normally sit at the kitchen table with my laptop, but I'm waiting on the UPS guy and so want a clear view of the outside so I don't miss him.  And while Radka normally settles herself on my chest (or next to me) while I recline or sit with the laptop, she found a solution to the obvious problem of me sitting all the way up in a normal chair

Is it me, or has she lost some of the Siamese coloring? Or am I thinking of a completely different cat?

Nah, you're just seeing the front half of her. She's got spotty tabby points on her, so it's not really uniformly Siamese, but she's darkened as she's gotten older...I ought to do a photo study on her... ;-D

My kitty (he was part Siamese and solid black with that demanding Siamese voice) loved to help me read by plastering himself all over my book or papers. I'm sure if I had owned a computer at that time, he would have thought of a way to block the screen. Radka's a cutie! (Got to ask--where did you find her name?)

Radka's half-Siamese, herself...my favorite character on Stargate: Atlantis is Radek Zelenka (see icon)...Radka's littermate was the one I was originally going to adopt from the rescue but he got a home before I got back there...and there she was with her sweet self. Radka's the feminine of Radek - and thus, Radka Michaela Zelenkitty got her name. ;-D
