I returned home from my final pilgrimage to Providence on Monday, and I find myself somewhat melancholy. Seeing Billy Petersen onstage was an amazing experience, and I'm afraid it spoiled me a bit. I understand what you're saying... It's somewhat empty and quiet now, isn't it? I feel like I've been transposed from one reality to another, because for all its uniqueness and grandeur, it seemed oddly normal to be there. I will miss it terribly, can't even begin to imagine what Billy's adjustments must feel like...
For me it would have to be the little umber glazed mug. It seemed to be Plunkett's one security 'blanket' - empty or not.
Had a wonderful time with friends and impressions, hope to feel that contentment again some day!

Billy's actions after the final bow were not exactly overt. It was very subtle, and I was glad I caught it. It was...poignant, and yes, a little sad.

And glad to hear Billy had worthy costars. Just sounds so awesome, as I bet he can be a domineering presence on stage.
