Ugghh.. This week is being sooooo long. I'm tired. I need a weekend to sleep in. No trips this weekend

Was a really beautiful day out today. To bad everyone was working or committed to other things. I had a really good breakfast at IHOP and went up to the mall for a while and saw Brook. Cool day today. Got to hang out with Dee and do stuff. Found a good Thai resturant next to the Regency 8. Brook drug me out to dinner a second time at like 10pm cause she was hungry so we went to carabas. Have to love Brook cause she's random like that. Still have no solid plans for tomorrow yet, so I guess we'll just see what happens.

Finally got back to Stuart! This is the first time I've been able to find a room down here since the huricanes and it had to be the Ramada which I also hated. Good thing is that they upgraded a bunch of things after the huricanes so the rooms are a lot nicer and I even have high speed internet ( Read more... )

Either I'm getting old or the roller coasters are getting insane. I rode the Cyclone at Wild Adventure today. It's one of the old style mixed steel and wood construction. So much for the Florida vacation. Well we did get some of it in, but we woke up in Kissimmee this morning to a huge thunder storm and a tornado watch. Storms predicted to last all day. So much for Seaworld. So back home. Bleh... Well I guess we'll go to Wild Adventure tommorrow instead. Anyway, I'm home now, so ya'll can IM me again.

I went to Lakeland, FL yesterday for the day. Just doing something nice for my mom. A neighbor that we used to live next to back in Pennsylvania lives in Lakeland and mom has been wanting to visit her. Made for a long day though. 4 hours down and another 4 back. Looks like my planned trip to Stuart on the 19th is delayed once again. The suburban hotel "lost" my reservation. Couldn't find it when I called to confirm it today. I've been trying to get down since the weekend of the first hurricane and I haven't been able to get a room anywhere within 50 miles for under $100 a night. Looks like I have a 3 day ( Read more... )
