White Collar Art! (Sara Ellis)

Mar 26, 2011 09:58

I was going to post this last Saturday, but I got distracted by Nikita art, so this is a little late, but I finally finished! \o/

I keep finding  things wrong with it while I'm posting, so I kept deleting, changing and uploading again, but I'm going to just throw it out into the great wide open now. *zen*

This was done with Painter 11, I used dry brushes this time and the 'pointed stump' blender, it looks little sharper than the last ones, I'm quite pleased about that.

I was going to do a  city scape for the background, but it turned to be a LOT of hassle and didn't even look that good after hours spent slaving away at tiny details, so I decided on a solid colour. Speaking of, what is this colour anyways, putty? wet clay?  I have no idea ( in my mind, I like to pretentiously call it rainwater). :D

I'm quite pleased this one actually, it turned out okay (click for a super bif image)- I think her hair is slightly more auburn but it just didn't seem to want to translate onto paper (?) so it's more of a light brown now. Meh.

I pimped my help_japan offer on my Nikita art post, but since I think different people are going to see this-

I am offering art here (including White Collar!) - bidding ends on the 31st.

Comments are food for the soul, so tell me what you think! Con-crit is very welcome. Also, I am now taking requests, it might take me a while because I have exams in the summer, but I will get it done! Request away in your comment! :)
