The twins are 10 weeks old tomorrow, and I'm currently out of state at my parent's place while my husband went away on business. Next week we'll all be back home

Our doctor didn't want to do it anyway. He put her on Prevacid. 15mg twice a day. It dissoves in water and we give it to her with a little dropper. She loves it! Hasn't spit up/thrown up once since she's been on it and the non-stop screaming stopped immediately.
That is pretty much what I am hoping for, we have Mason on Levsin and Alimentum for the colic, but the reflux issue is completely separate. I almost wonder if what he's been going through has been the reflux and not colic at all.
Ellie is on Zantac. It's helped a lot...she still spits up, but now we can tell she's not in pain when she does it. She also no longer has that nasty "cottage cheese" spit-up.
Some things you can try until then:
Raise the mattress of his crib with a phone book (under the mattress on the head side), don't lay him flat right after eating, and try smaller amounts more often if possible.
A tip on giving the antacid... measure the amount into an eyedropper and then, with your finger over the nipple hole, put it in the nipple of the bottle. Pour a little tiny bit of formula in the nipple and give that to the baby. THen, of course, re-attach the nipple to the bottle and feed as necessary.
Good luck, and I hope the reflux clears up! I have it as an adult and IT SUCKS!

Meghan did. It's been greatly improved since she started taking Axid and has been on reflux formula.
