I took majellen's suggestion (as a comment to my 8 wks well-baby post) and shook the formula after each scoop. She was right, it is a pain, but the formula isn't clumping like it had been.

Aislyn's at 10lbs 7oz and 22" (that's 2lbs 2" in 6weeks yay), breastfeeding is going great aside from being completely unresponsive to the pump but it's not like I really leave her alone a lot.  It seems my mom had the same problem with pumping as well as my husbands aunt, she said she could hand express but I still don't get much hand expressing ( Read more... )

Meghan had her 8 weeks well-baby visit this morning. In a nutshell, she is doing just fine and is on track as far as growth and development go. She weighs 10lbs 8.4 oz (was 7.15 at last month's visit!), and her height is 1' 10.25". I saw a different doctor today than last week (it's a group) and he was very pleased with her progress. Is anyone else delaying vaccinations?

My son got his newborn ones, but I plan on delaying the rest of his shots until he is at less of a risk for SIDS and getting really sick and stuff... Anyone else doing this????

for veteran moms--

my son has an appointment for his 2 month check-up at the end of this month. i'm wondering how much tylenol do i give him prior the appointment? it's been 2 years since my first son was born, so i don't remember much about dosages during the first few months. thanks in advance!
