i still hardly write here anymore. it's a shame, because i still log in every day and read my friends list and my friends' friends list as well. my friends' list is the source of all my news before i actually go outside. as long as i have a bowl of cereal beside me i'll be here most mornings. and as well as in the evenings - whenever i eat cereal

i really loved happy go lucky! glad you did too. i thought poppy was so, so wonderful. i really need to figure out how to surround myself with more of that sort of bright, genuine optimism - or at least figure out how to hold on to my own hope in the dour, grumbling face of adversity, y'know? i had the shittiest year, brian. god! i've missed you.

But those people at the Toronto shows are just as bad. All that clique-y thing. It's worse than 100 status updates, I feel. I hope that goes away. But it's still good to see you're out and about and social, especially since I hardly saw you at all this year. Maybe in '09. Your band could open for our band?

oh i'm not talking about hunchback and those stoners. there's a few other people. i'd love to open up for your band! then i could leave early and catch a good show somewhere else.
