August Writing Day 3
This was a lot more fun (and difficult!) than I thought it would be. I would like to thank Mr Roget, for without him, this would have been impossible. ;)
The Chore that Would Not Die!
The job I had to do this day was huge so I start as soon as the grass is dry and with blade and with rake and with spade I set out. It was hard in the heat to keep on but I did and it took all day long but I’m done. And the sweat from my skin and the dirt ‘neath my nails have all gone down the drain. So let it rain in the night if it will. For the pain in my hands and the ache in my joints are still there and they hurt, but I will sleep well this night for the yard is all done (‘til next time) and IT LOOKS GREAT!!
