Oh man. I'VE FORGOTTEN HOW GOOD MATT BOMER LOOKS IN A SUIT LOLOL. Seriously every time he's on screen I'm just like LAHSKDJFASDF HELLO YOU ARE VERY PRETTY I WOULD APPRECIATE IT MUCHLY IF YOU JUST REMAINED ON MY SCREEN AT ALL TIMES.
Okay but UTTERLY SHALLOW REACTIONS ASIDE.
1. I love the subtlety of Neal's grieving. I love that he's so desperate to get to the bottom of who killed Kate--but it's in a completely subdued way--and the way he didn't push Mozzie at it, like he's beyond asking for help, like he's suffering so much survivor's guilt that he feels like he has to go this alone and the strength he has for obviously hiding all of that. It's just so perfectly Neal--it was exactly how I was going to make him react to the events in Burnout and kalsdf now I really want to write that continuation. SERIOUSLY TOO MANY WIP GUYS. TOO MANY.
2. I love the interaction between Peter and Mozzie akjshjdafsd SERIOUSLY HOW CUTE IS MOZZIE. HE IS SO ADORABLE AAAA. I love the scene with the voice change. <33
3. Diana, WTF. I don't really know how to interpret this. I mean she was in DC and all where she could have been ~exposed to the wiles~ of Fowler and his team. But what if she did it on Peter's orders? WHAT IF???
In season 2 related stuff, my roommate mentioned the dearth of female villains and this is actually really true--WHERE ARE THE FEMALE MASTERMINDS? I'd love to see a couple of them this season. AND OF COURSE, I WOULDN'T SAY NO TO MATT BOMER BEING ON SCREEN AT ALL TIMES I mean what.
IN OTHER STUFF, been seeing the "I Write Like" meme being passed around the f-list and strangely enough, I'm not really interested in who I write like (apparently a mixture of Dan Brown, Stephen King, and some Russian guy I've never heard of) but I'm really curious about the algorithm behind the analysis. My hypothesis is that they do an average number of words per sentence count, probably look at the kind of punctuation you use, maybe an average number of letters per word analysis and number of conjunctions used too. The science papers I write (in which my sentences are tiny) turn out to be similar to Dan Brown a lot. I get a lot of Stephen King for my fics wherein I abuse dashes and run on sentences, lolol. Anyone noticed a trend in their results?
