Right, it's time the truth came out. For a very long time there, I was an avid Webkinz player. I was so very proud when I won the Webkinz Crown of Jewels and so very ashamed that most of the games designed for 5-year-olds could kick my ass. At least my Mother shared in my shame, as she was just as bad.

Many of my RL friends mock me for keeping up with things like ann.com and actually going to Anime cons, but I've never denied the fact that I am a dork.

Seriously, it was addictive. And they knew parents and siblings were playing, b/c they guilted you in for not visiting. All, "Oh, look, your webkinz is on its deathbed b/c you haven't been to see us in 5 days. You must play 5 thousand games to get its health back!"

Honestly, I go to anime cons to see friends I don't get to see on an everyday basis and to go to the Dealer's room. A good Dealer's room is worth a 3-day-pass for me. Luckily, they've mostly been on holiday weekends, so I'd only have to miss one day of work either way. I'm basically there to be the voice of reason, bag holder and photographer for all my friends who cosplay.

As I said, my shame knows no bounds.
