Okay, this post came about because while doing research for my latest fic, I came to realize that Donnie Wahlberg--who plays Lieutenant Lipton on Band of Brothers--is part of New Kids on the Block.

And of course my comptuer sucks, so this comment posted before I was finished, hence the editing but! I would just like to say that CLEARLY the man is amazing actor when he can play the BAMF roles he does and he's, you know, THAT in real life.

Also, watch Blue Bloods. Or any of the ten thousand other cop roles he's done. It's Donnie running around in a suit, being a badass. What can I say, I have a thing for nicely dressed men wearing ties. But seriously, in Blue Bloods, he takes down a suspect by, like, stealing a granny's umbrella and throwing it at a guy. It's tv gold.

Of all DDub's roles, besides Lip and playing himself on Twitter, his character Danny on blue bloods is bar far my favorite.

Oh my god oh my god oh my god I FUCKING LOVE that you posted this like just now because not four minutes ago (here at work) I got the assignment to watch the "Blue Bloods" pilot and panel interview that we did at my job...at which I was present...and at which I got a hug from the man himself. :DDDDDD I always liked him because I was so insanely impressed at his crazy-ass Method dedication in The Sixth Sense because he lost like 43 pounds for a five minutes role--that is the type of thing that will win my heart FOREVER--and then I became a BoB fangirl and then I met him and my rule is that if I fangirl you and then you're nice to me personally, I will then stan for you FOREVER AND EVER AND EVER. Oh, and it's thanks to him that my mom met and got a hug from Tom Selleck, whom she has been fangirling for literally thirty years.

SO, IN CONCLUSION: he is outstandingly awesome (omg the Twitter I truly can't ♥) and I approve of this post 100% and there's a reason I have always called him The Superior Wahlberg. The end. ♥♥♥♥♥

:) I am old enough that I gushed and squealed for New Kids on the Block, I had a comforter and sheet set, all the tapes and Jonathan was my favorite and Jordan was my best friends favorite and we would make up Mary Sue stories about them on the phone before I even knew what fanfiction was :D we were plotting it together :)

In hind sight it was hillarious <3 :D But really they were mega popular at the time :) I think I was in... 5th or 6th grade? when they were popular. (long before I knew anyone who had a home computer I didn't get one until I was 15 and we only had dial up bbs systems not internet in our area until I was 16 :) )

I find it so hard to take him as a serious actor I think I'd just LOL if I watched any of these shows (which I can't they are too gory which is too bad they sound amazing I like history).
