omg so my sherlock kick is still going strong right? but the other day i was looking back through some old pictures and suddenly i saw an eagle one and ALL OF THIS LIKE, SUPPRESSED LOVE SUDDENLY CAME SURGING BACK.

story-wise? it's a little bit questionable. acting-wise? it has channing tatum in it... but i can't deny that there's like ~chemistry~ between channing and jamie. possibly to the degree where i ended up shamelessly writing rpf about it. askjdlfaklsd. i think my roommate & i cried with laughter when we watched it the first time because it was just that gay. EITHER WAY THOUGH. there are some ridiculously talented people in fandom (motetus is a seriously impressive artist, carmarthen & sineala produce fantastic fic--and that's just off the top of my head). I HAVE TONS OF LOVE FOR THIS MOVIE THOUGH AND I THOROUGHLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO WATCH IT! :DDD

IT IS A VERSE THAT HAS BEEN IN THE WORKS FOR A REALLY LONG TIME basically nate is a massachusetts senator and he's ~secretly boyfriends~ (but not boyfriends, because they can't label what they have or whatever) brad who works for a theoretical physics department at private weapons industry company. the research group kind of discovers like a ~glitch~ in reality or whatever--basically they (meaning ray and walt, accidentally, which is why they get to be on the run for most of this fic) release this virus that works off of collective thought. so like, all of these urban legends and shit are suddenly coming true and the more that people freak out over it, the stronger this ~glitch~ becomes. and eventually it becomes a matter of national security and nate heads the committee looking into this while nobody knows that he's got like, a secret tryst with brad or whatever. and brad is insisting that they've got everything under control because nobody is able to really understand the extent of the glitch or whatever and nate trusts him and

omg omg omg you have no idea HOW GRATEFUL I AM THAT YOU LET ME BLATANTLY STEAL YOUR IDEA AND HOW EXCITED I AM ABOUT WRITING IT. i structured all of it two days ago, picked all of the cities that they would go to and how they would go about undermining moriarty and all the mistakes they make along the way and kalsjdfsd i think it's a bit darker than i originally anticipated, what with john having to make sure that sherlock doesn't relapse into his ~old habits~ again and ugh not even keyboardsmash can describe how much i want to throw all of my developed films in the air and declare "I GIVE UP ON SCIENCE, SOMEONE PAY ME TO WRITE FANFICTION FOREVER."
