My mom's surgery was a success. At 50, she has the lower back of an 80 year old, with significant degeneration in the lower spine. The disks and vertebrae begin to degenerate, causing nerve irritation and pain. I'm glad to hear it went well! Granted, the recovery process seems long and painful, at least this one has an end that is more certain than just some excersize.

Your mom is lucky to have such a support team (^_^)
