Time crunch
Whenever I get to work superearly, as in before 10am, my herculean effort to do so is never rewarded. Today, for example. I got here at 8am so that Allen and I could begin embedding tissue in epon, only to discover upon my arrival that we have to wait for the boss, TK. TK has not shown up yet. I poured a gel, then sat down to read some papers

but in grad school there really never is a good time to take time off.
...it doesn't really change once you join the working world really...though I suppose it kinda depends on the job you take.
