I was expecting something fluffy and cute and sickeningly sweet. And then I get this. I'm stunned and full of questions now.

I love the way this is written. I think few authors manage to 'get' present tense writing and it feels awkward, but this just flows so smoothly and elegantly. I am awed and envious.
