Toggle Powers

One important additional piece of development to mention, that is especially relevant to Kheldians and their toggle powers is: in Issue 13, Toggles are no longer shut off due to Hold, Sleep or Disorient effects. This is a major ( Read more... )

I squeed when they announced that last week. Possibly the best thing in the next two issues! :D

It's lovely! When my toggles fall on my tanker - I'm dead. Pure and simple. Everything he's about is about keeping those toggles up.

I like it ;)

Oh, and about Temperature Protection? Am I missing something profound about Movement Resistance or whatever? I mean, Temp protection looks pretty crappy ... are the changes to it something grand that I don't see?

I still looks pretty crappy. Ilios has little room in his build and Temp Protection doesn't seem as important and Combat jumping, Acrobatics or even Fireball or Char.

No, Temperature Protection is still pretty crappy. You're at fire resist cap without it. My suggestion was 2 points of knockback protection when you're on the ground only for it -- to represent your feet have melted into the earth and you can't be knocked down by ice slicks and grenades. Others suggested it not just be movement speed resistance but also recharge.

No kidding! I hate having to reactivate everything after a stun that lasts under 5 seconds....

!! You play Coh/CoV? What Servers? What's your global handle/name?

I'm '@Aular' and primarily do Heroes on Triumph (Matthew and I moved our bigguys from Protector) and Villians on Infinity.

I'll have to check tonight, but I think it's Freedom. I stick pretty closely to villainy, preferring my zombie MM, The Manchester Mortician. I think my handle's @ManchesterMortician, but I could be wrong.

I ration my time online, so advancement's been pretty slow. I'm just about level 47 with the Mortician at long last.

Cool. If that's your primary/only character and you're not associated to a gaming group at present, Matthew and I have a villian group on Infinity that you could join. We've a base and most things functioning in it -- teleporters to every zone except the Crash Site and Grandville; Enhancement tables, empowerment stations, etc. Next on the list is a Medical Bay or Infirmary, but if we had someone over level 40 we'd push up the last teleporter and beacons to the next purchase.

I think it's only $10.00 to transfer a character and it's instantaneous, too. Just holler sometime when you're on and we can chat via global chat or ventrilo if you have a headset and roll that way ;)

This will make playing Althea a lot less painful. :)
