Once, in college, my friend and I skipped class and went to Denny’s for lunch.  The restaurant had a funny smell to it and my friend, joking around with a funny quip from a popular movie of the time, mis-quoted it.  She meant to say, “I see dead people.”  What she said instead was, “I smell dead people.”  It was hilarious at the time; we actually
