so in the midst of a frantic episode of procrastination, i wandered to the myspace of a couple of my dance students and saw on one that i had been listed amongst her "heroes." Well I toyed with getting one but Ferretlass says its brought nothing but doom to her and Quark's computer, seeing as its filled with spam and viruses...that and apparantly its just a large dating site for teenagers...emo teenagers...

good to know--i guess if i were to do it, i'd make sure only to access it on the mac. my days of dating teenagers are over--wait, i have NEVER dated a teenager. even when i was one. how weird is that. okay, tangent aside, that's kind of why i never got one in the first place. the occasional time that i wander to one of my teenaged aquaintance's sites, it makes me gag. maybe because of the horrific backgrounds and terrible music?

being on a mac will help in this respect, but thanks for the warning--it gives me good incentive not to visit such sites when at work on the dell!

Hmm. I haven't noticed all this virus activity. Myspace is basically just another socialization site. I spend some time on it these days because I have friends who post there as opposed to here, and friends who aren't ON here who are there, etc. It's no more a time-suck than anything else, really.
