second life is way confusing

reading the southeastern massachusetts regional library system newsletter for june, i came across an article on all the library portals in second life. naturally, being the procrastinator i am, i joined and tried to find them

Second Life is tough. Big learning curve. I've played around a little with it, but have yet to see any applications at my job that make it worth the large amounts of time it requires.

If you're still interested, IM me and I can try to give you some pointers.
