ooh, quick update on the butoh thingie
i had a blast at the butoh-inspired improv--it may not have been the world's best improv performance, but the whole process of working with these three other women for an hour and a half and then performing was really great. the response was very positive, and we all want to work together again ( Read more... ) -

tonight, i get to participate in an expermental butoh-inspired improv dance performance, dressed in a hospital gown, chanelling zebra finches, robins and peacocks, while billy joel's "uptown girl" plays on a ghettoblaster.
