As posted the other day, by calygrey,  (thank you for that, you probably reached more folks than I might) My Ex-husband (Ron Depot/Abelard Kif de Marseilles,  passed away over the weekend. A lot of people have asked "how do feel about that?"

Funny thing, I think I should feel more. He used to be a huge part of my life, I married him, we had about 10 years

It's weird for me, too, in (I'm sure) vastly different ways. He was a friend of mine, but briefly. It's kind of shocking *how* briefly. I joined the SCA in late '77. By '81 you were divorced, we had started, and The Man Who Made Ale had pretty much left the SCA. Four years and change. That was how long I knew him, really.

He made good ale. He knew how to party. And he was a badass with a polearm. RIP.
