My heart aches for the families affected by this morning's awful and senseless shooting in Squirrel Hill. The Tree of Life Synagogue is within walking distance of both work and home for me, a place I've walked past more times than I can count

The friend I had lunch with when I visited you in July was neighbors with the couple who was killed from Wilkinsburg. She moved from there when she got married in Oct and sold her house but she said she knew them well. Very sad no matter if you knew them or not.
