Even though my departure is still a ways off, I made the tough decision to take Fluffs to her new owners last night. I fought hard to find the cheapest option to bring my baby girl back with me but alas $6000US and 6 months quarantine sealed the deal. Sheesh....6 months and 4 blood tests later my baby wouldn't have come out the same cat.

Bummer.

A whirlwhind trip to Beijing with my girls leaves me with more memories in three days than my poor brain can deal with. Great Walls of China (inc Flying fox), Forbidden Cities (that were obviously not forbidden enough to stop Starbucks setting up shop in it), Temples and Beijing Ducks... and that was just in the first two days.

With the dream of hitting the Miami Music Conference this year slowly dissipating I'm left to reshuffle my 'to-do' list. Miami moves to next year and finding more labels to get signed to moves up to fill it's spot. I know I'll make it there eventually so being disappointed need only be a passing fad ( Read more... )

Woke up today to find I have a shower with no hot water! Never realised quite how much my morning shower aleviates my crankiness until I am deprived of its magic.

So off on another 'dont speak the native, lets play charades' adventure to get my hot water fixed.

Sunday.... just got even sunday-ier. (c)me, when I said it.

After an absence of 9 or 10 months I'm back on the scene.
