Chestnuts roasting on an open fire . . .

. . . is apparently what we'll be having - and ALL we'll be having - for Thanksgiving dinner; my mom and I are headed to my sister's place for Thanksgiving, and she is lacking:

a) a working oven

b) two working burners on the stove (the two that do work are the small burners), and

c) a working microwave.

Nope, couldn't be because my sister wants to eat this T-day so she is coming to my house.
