SO I've been ridiculously sick the past three weeks or so... have had non-stop un-normalness in my digestion (which is all i'm going to say) and lots and lots of stomach pain. Just recently I was hit wiht another cold where headache, sinus ache, swollen glands and fever sprung... I missed two days of school and so the school wanted me to prove that

VIVIAN. I hope you get well soon, and I'm so sorry this happened to you when you were away from home.
I gotta share this with you though... when do you ever hear about people getting their appendixes out? I never do.
But Anthony's sister was soooo inexplicably sick last month and it turned out to be her appendix, so she had it out. THEN my sister's friend Meghan got inexplicably sick a week later and had hers out too....and then another boy I know, Jordan, had his out that week too!!! It's so strange!
SO if it's any consolation they all got rushed into surgery like you did, too, so you're not alone!!

So the first day I actually check in I find that you're under the weather in a big way! Vivian, I have my fingers crossed that you feel a whole lot better now, even if a little tender.

Interesting isn't it that we would likely think of something like appendicitis at home but naturally figure it's some nasty foreign bug (yuck, there are many)?

Love your storiesa about school. I think children should be doing more cleaning!!!
