Of his later things, I really enjoyed Airframe, though I know few other people who have read it!
I think he gets the dubious honor of 'worst screen adaptations', though, because Jurassic park was fine, but Sphere, Congo, Timeline.... yeah, no thanks. Especially Congo.
I also enjoyed A Case of Need, because it raised a lot of ethical questions.
I don't mind his movie adaptions. I was just perturbed by his posture that global warming is a lieeeeeee. And humans should not play God. And dinosaurs will eat us all.
I have my own opinions on global warming, which doesn't completely line up with either 'side'. That is, of course it's bloody well real - the whole midwest used to be covered with a glacier, and it's not now, so the earth warmed. I think the debate is how much is being caused by humanity. A little? A lot? And I honestly don't think anyone really knows the answer to that question. Environmentalist will tell you a lot - but then, environmental climate models from the 70s have now proved to be quite off, and frankly, I don't trust a weather person to predict tomorrow's climate, let alone the next 100 years. Scientist tend to lean a bit more towards a little, reminding everyone that globally, we're still on the back side of an ice age, so not all the warming can (or should) be attributed to man.
Ihave a stuffed velociraptor who very much would like to eat us all...

When I worked at the Museum of Science, we sold the velociraptors AND the Utah raptors from Wild Republic.
