Argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, if I were to be entirely honest, I would have to say that my entire day has sucked more than a $2 whore. Work was horrendous, which isn't unusual, but somehow all of the people that usually make it bearable (such as the Jared look-alike that has the desk across from mine) decided to call in sick or whatever the hell it was that they were doing ( Read more... )

Smallville and Supernatural were pre-empted? And on top of all that other stuff? Oh, honey. *cuddles*

Clearly, the devil is living in your town.

Oh, I've known that for years. I'm pretty certain that Satan works in the same building. He's the one that always takes my parking space ; )

I used to get preempted al the time back in the fall for fucking Pistons basketball. But at least back then they were rebroadcasting on Saturdays. Will they ever give it to you? If not, I say we riot and storm the station! ;)

I honestly don't know if they'll show it, but even if they do I'm hardly ever home so it doesn't really help me all that much anyway. If they do it again, though, I may have to take you up on that offer to riot. I'm sure there were plenty of pissed off people missing their boys in St. Louis last night that would be happy to help : )

Hi there. I'm just looking through my friends, friend's journals and I stumbled across yours.

Jared look-a-like, eh? Well, that should make any kind of work that much better.

I feel your pain about Supernatural, my WB affiliate seems to like to skip episodes every now and then. No sports or anything else on, they just don't air episodes. As of now they missed Scarecrow, Faith, and Hell House.

And you probably already know this, but Youtube.com should have all the episodes.

I hope things get better for you!
And I'm going to friend you, if that's alright.

Welcome! I'm always happy to make a new friend. In fact, I've already friended you back.

Yeah, I was kind of having a moment that night. Just one of those days where nothing goes right, but I can promise that usually I'm not quite so anger driven : )

Thanks for the advice on Youtube. I'm now completely caught up.

No problem. Youtube solves all of my problems.

And everyone's allowed to have moments. I have moments all the time, and it sounds like you had every right to have that moment.

Hope things are going better for you!

All better now! I actually got some good news recently. Thanks for the thought, though.

That sounds so terrible. I am so sorry and they decided to air over Supernatural and Smallville. I am doubly sorry! *hugs*

*hugs back, because I'm a huge cuddle whore*

No worries, the world is back to being a beautiful place and I no longer feel the urge to cause someone great bodily harm : )

I work with kids so as to remind myself why I will never have kids. Works brilliantly to squash any of those nauseating clucky symptoms seen in so many childless women.

As I'm fond of saying, I like other people's kids but I like the fact that I get to send them home at the end of the day even more : D

Personally, I've never suffered from any of those nauseating, clucky symptoms, but I attribute it to the fact that I've spent so much time around my cousin's children that I know exactly why having kids of my own would be a horrible idea.

Exactly. Kids are great on a short term basis. Loaned. Maybe more parents would be happier people and kids could grow up in more stable environments if the children could be loaned out more. It'd probably also quite nicely reduce the birth rate.

My problem is that I'm the oldest of the grandkids and I was 13 by the time my first cousin came to being.

In my family, myself and all of my cousins were born in a relatively short amount of time. My oldest cousin is only 4 years older than I am. In the past few years an alarming number of them have decided to reproduce and, since I'm the responsible one, I've been stuck with babysitting duty more times than I can count.

It's definitely made me consider the benefits of taking a vow of chastity.
