well! you'll be interested to hear that my ex-boyfriend and i are planning on moving to portland in as soon as a few months!!!, depending on if he can find a job as a luthier at a custom/repair guitar shop. of course, i, not being able to let go of people i have emotional attachments to, will be going with him and finding a job as a scientist somewhere.

SO! in the meantime, i'll be googling for guitar nonsense in portland. if you know of anywhere, let me know too!

i saw your entry about how you changed your mind, &i really hope you change it back, because that would be amazing...

things that i hope change your mind:
1. oh, hi! im here &i definitely do a fair amount of ruling!
2. portland is the best place ever, and we have a million amazing places to go &things to do, &everything is reasonably close (like mountains &desert &beaches &crap)
3. i have 2 friends i could talk to about biology-ish jobs, AND i know someone that *might* be able to hook whaley up with the people at guitar center.
4. the 2 bedroom 2 story townhouse thats 2 doors down from me is still open...washer/dryer, little porch thing, 7 minutes from downtown, on frequent service buslines (&free parking, too, of course), &the landlord lets us paint the walls! its the same layout as my place &i pay $590 a month...kind of amazing!
5. our tap water is really good? i dont know. i felt like i needed a 5th reason.
