Being with Hikaru yesterday made me think.
I don't like it when my friends are in pain. I don't like it when they're divided. I don't like it when I see how much they hurt, and they just can't talk about it.
Like Zuko. Like Azula. Like Hikaru.
And I hate feeling helpless. I want to do something for them. I want Azula and Zuko to heal their relationship. I want Azula to understand that Zuko is still Zuko, even if he's not on our side anymore. Azula, you're my friend, always, and I'll do what you ask me to, but Zuko's my friend, also. I don't want to fight him, but I may have to. And I hate that, too.
I want Hikaru to be happy. I want him to find peace. I almost cried, yesterday, watching him, but I kept it in.
Why does he have to go through this? Why do any of us?
