I got an externship scheduled for next June at an all feline practice for two weeks!!! AAaaaahhhhh!!!!

There are several places on my list that I have some resemblance of priority for. There's central animal hospital of pinellas point in st. pete, oakhurst veterinary hospital in clearwater, and northeast animal hospital in clearwater/largo as well. There are a few others, but I'm going to start with the above in that order. I need at least three total for credits (and can only have three for credits, the rest would be just for "fun") so I just need to land two more. I'm also planning on going to west palm to work with my old vet for a bit that summer, if I can find a place to stay.

i figure mine aren't til spring 2010 so i've got some time. haha.

They basically require that we do two externships or three clinic rotations at school during that summer for a total of four credits (though there are other ways to attain those, that's just the most common way). They only allow a max of six credits from externships. So I'll do at least three, maybe a fourth for fun. Depends on how easy it is to get the next two lined up.
