I just bought myself an XBOX 360. Used, of course. Since I've pretty much given up on WoW, I need something to occupy my time.

Any recommendations for games?

Dead Or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball 2? (Actually, that's more of a game for me, but...)

I heard good things about Viva Pinata, you might like it's little community building exercise.

What other games do you normally like?

I'm gonna check out the reviews for those.

Generally? I like either cheesy games or RPG style. Anything that lets me mash buttons also puts a smile on my face.

Dynasty Warriors was a fun little button mashing-kill everything in sight game. It's not the most complicated game in the world, but it is solid mindless fun.

And DOA:XBV? It's really just a fanservice game. Mostly for guys. XD

Try some of the XBox Live games, maybe?

The beautiful thing about gaming these days is that most folk are super-fickle, and newish games get cheap fast. Go to that new game store downtown, pick out a bunch of interesting looking games for $5-10 each. It's as cheap as renting, and you get to keep them as long as you want, then get a buck or two when you return them.

Yup, that's where I picked up the console and a few games (and Guitar Hero was on sale at Wal-Mart). I've been having fun with that Marvel Ultimate Alliace game. But they have a surprisingly smallish section of 360 games.

The woman who sold it to me suggested Fable 2. Any opinion on it?
