Mom had her surgery today. They're releasing her at two. Poor Mom. I'm a horrible nursemaid.

How are the two of you doing so far?

Surprisingly well. Of course, she can run away from me now. It was touch and go for awhile, because the ice bag was almost thrown at my head a few times. Apparently, making jokes while someone has staples in them is a big no-no.
