I am so sore

I went to the Texas State Fair yesterday. We got there at 11:00am and stayed until about 9:00pm, and pretty much walked the entire time so my legs are killing me, but it was fun. I will post more about that later, with pics provided I can find my camera cord and tell you all about the joy that is CHICKEN FRIED BACON - that's right I said chicken

I bet you were sore if you were on your feet that long!

And everyone says the chicken fried bacon is good - and there's a restaurant somewhere around her that's been serving it for like 50 years. I wish I could remember who it was! (not that I need it)

Glad you had a good time, and it was a beautiful day for it. I'd originally thought about trying to go Monday when I was off, but it's just as well I didn't since it rained all day. I was stiff from the art festival and walking around Firewheel afterwards, anyway.
