I'm back with a meme!

All the serious updates will have to wait, since I feel like doing a meme.


1. Started your own blog --- I have started three, but only two are active.
2. Slept under the stars---- Yes, once. It was a magical night.
3. Played in a band --- No, even my mom says I have no musical talents. And moms should always support their children.
4. Visited Hawaii --- No, but it would be really nice (based on Disney's Lilo & Stitch).
5. Watched a meteor shower --- Never, unfortunately. I've never even seen northern lights even though I live in friggin Finland :).
6. Given more than you can afford to charity--- Not really, though I'm giving a certain amount to different organizations every month, and sometimes I'm in a trouble, when they charge my bank account and take my last money just before pay day.
7. Been to Disneyland --- Yes! Last year in Paris and it was one of the coolest days of my life thus far :).
8. Climbed a mountain --- No, only Ounasvaara in Rovaniemi, and it's even smaller than a fjeld (we don't have mountains in Finland) but I couldn't find a English name for vaara.
9. Held a praying mantis--- No, and not seen either.
10. Sang a solo--- OMG never!
11. Bungee jumped--- No, and don't want to.
12. Visited Paris--- Yes, twice. The first trip was quite weird (mainly because of the company), but the second one last year was terrific.
13. Watched a lightning storm--- I love them!
14. Taught yourself an art from scratch --- Sewing, pattern-making, embroidering (nothing non-sewing related comes to mind).
15. Adopted a child--- No. But if I ever considered having a child, an adoption would be a strong alternative.
16. Had food poisoning--- At least not so bad that I would have noticed.
17. Walked to the top of the Statue of Liberty --- No, I've never been to USA, but I would love to.
18. Grown your own vegetables--- No. I can't in my student apartment, but it would be nice to do that on some day. On the other hand, I love living in a city.
19. Seen the Mona Lisa in France --- Yes, and it was a bit weird. There was a huge crowd surrounding the painting, but I don't think many people really looked at it. They just took pictures in front of it.
20. Slept on an overnight train --- Yes, just about a month ago when my bf and I travelled to Rovaniemi (in Northern Finland).
22. Hitch hiked--- Never, and since I'm a small girl, I probably never will.
23. Taken a sick day when you’re not ill--- Yes, but only once. I really wanted to be somewhere else, and since I'm never really sick, I figured it's not so bad.
24. Built a snow fort--- So many when I was a kid. I think we built at least five snow forts or igloos per winter.
25. Held a lamb--- If I remember correctly, yes. I was very little.
26. Gone skinny dipping--- Totally. All the time when I was little and still sometimes if no one's watching, but never on a pool, only lakes.
27. Run a Marathon--- No. It could be cool, but I think I'm never able.
28. Ridden in a gondola in Venice --- No, but it would be great.
29. Seen a total eclipse--- No, I always miss them.
30. Watched a sunrise or sunset--- Seen MANY times, but not actually watched so often. There are couple special occasions that I remember better.
31. Hit a home run--- No, even though I played Finnish baseball for six years when I was little.
32. Been on a cruise --- Couple of times on a fancy, old fashioned cruise in a wooden boat (ocne in Finland and once in Greece) and many times across the Gulf of Finland from Helsinki to Stockholm of Tallin and back (they are really cheap).
33. Seen Niagara Falls in person --- No, but I would love to.
34. Visited the birthplace of your ancestors- Not really in a way that I would have gone on some kind of pilgrimage, but my ancestors lived in a same area as I live now.
35. Seen an Amish community--- No, but that would be super interesting.
36. Taught yourself a new language--- At the moment I'm trying to get a hold of Danish and Norwegian, but it helps that I've studied Swedish in school for 11 years. I've also just started studying German this autumn, and I've studied English for 10 years and Latin for 6 years. I've also taken some courses in Russian, Italian, Chinese and Icelandic, but I don't remember anything of them anymore.
37. Had enough money to be truly satisfied--- Well, a couple of times I've had a decent payroll (for a student), and I've been very happy about it for a about a week :).
38. Seen the Leaning Tower of Pisa in person--- No, but I'd love to.
39. Gone rock climbing--- No, and I'm not really into extreme sports. Or any sports, if that matters.
40. Seen Michelangelo's David --- I've might seen the copy at the V&A, but honestly can't remember.
41. Sung karaoke--- Never!
42. Seen Old Faithful geyser erupt--- Unfortunately no.
43. Bought a stranger a meal at a restaurant---No.
44. Visited Africa---No, but I would love to. There are so many countries to visit.
45. Walked on a beach by moonlight--- Yes, quite a lot since there's a beach near my parents' house where I grew,
46. Been transported in an ambulance --- No. I've never broken anything.
47. Had your portrait painted--- No, only a caricature sketch when I visited Rome.
48. Gone deep sea fishing--- No.
49. Seen the Sistine Chapel in person--- Yes, and it was beautiful, but I would have needed binoculars in order to see the painting properly.
50. Been to the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris--- No, even though I've visited Paris twice. First time my friend didn't want us to go, and the other time we were too busy.
51. Gone scuba diving or snorkeling--- Not really.
52. Kissed in the rain -- Sure.
53. Played in the mud--- As a kid.
54. Gone to a drive-in theater--- No, we don't have them here.
55. Been in a movie--- No, an extra in a couple of music videos and such, but not in a movie.
56. Visited the Great Wall of China --- Yes, when our upper secondary school visited  our partner schools in Peking and I was able to be part of the delegation.
57. Started a business--- No, and never want to. It's too insecure.
58. Taken a martial arts class --- Not any Asian martial arts, but I trained medieval Italian swordsmanship for about four years when in upper secondary school.
59. Visited Russia - No, but it would be interesting,
60. Served at a soup kitchen--- No.
61. Sold Girl Scout Cookies --- Not Girl Scout cookies, but my class in upper level of comprehensive school sold cookies and whatnot for three years in order to collect money for our trip to Rome. It was a tradition for the Latin studying class, and we ended up collecting more money than we needed. But I never really enjoyed the experience.
62. Gone whale watching--- No, but it's probably so cool.
63. Got/gave flowers for no reason --- Yes, couple of times.
64. Donated blood, platelets or plasma--- Not yet. I'm a bit scared of needles and I haven't had the guts yet.
65. Gone sky diving--- No.
66. Visited a Nazi concentration camp--- No.
67. Bounced a check --- No, I don't use checks.
68. Flown in a helicopter --- No.
69. Saved a favourite childhood toy--- Many things are saved, but my mum has recycled a lot too to the neighbourhood children.
70. Visited the Lincoln Memorial--- No.
71. Eaten caviar --- I've bee offered, but I'm quite picky about what I eat and never accepted.
72. Pieced a quilt --- No.
73. Stood in Times Square --- No, but I've stood in Piccadilly Circuit (trying to come up with something similar that Times Square).
74. Toured the Everglades--- No.
75. Been fired from a job--- No, I’ve always been one step ahead and found a new job and resigned.
76. Seen the Changing of the Guards in London--- Yes. Couple of years ago.
77. Broken a bone --- Never.
78. Been on a speeding motorcycle--- No, I'm too scared of them.
79. Seen the Grand Canyon in person--- No.
80. Published a book --- No, but I would love to do that on some day. But not fiction, I’m not good with that.
81. Visited the Vatican--- Yes, it was great. One of the most interesting places I've been.
82. Bought a brand new car--- No, I don't own a car.
83. Walked in Jerusalem--- No.
84. Had your picture in the newspaper--- Yes, couple of times. I always end up in these strange articles about re-enacting or something weird, when I don't have the guts to say no.
85. Read the entire Bible --- No. It could be quite educating, but the Bible is really no tmy thing.
86. Visited the White House--- No.
87. Killed and prepared an animal for eating --- No, I like to keep my hands clean.
88. Had chickenpox--- Yes, I was only couple of year old and don't remember much about it. My mom wanted me to have it, because it's better to get over with when you're young.
89. Saved someone’s life--- No.
90. Sat on a jury--- No. We have a different system here.
91. Met someone famous--- Not anyone REALLY famous, but some small celebrities in Finland, some artists in cons or signings, and some scholars famous in their own field.
92. Joined a book club--- Yes, but it never worked out.
93. Lost a loved one--- Yes. My friend from upper secondary school.
94. Had a baby --- No.
95. Seen the Alamo in person--- No.
96. Swam in the Great Salt Lake--- No.
97. Been involved in a law suit--- No.
98. Owned a cell phone--- Yes (duh!). I got my first one when I was eleven and I just bought a new one.
99. Been stung by a bee--- Yes, two times. Not nice.
100. Read an entire book in one day--- Yes, especially in comprehensive school when I had more time than nowadays. For example I always read a book per day when I'm reading the Anne of the Green Gables series.
